Jenny began practicing yoga to maintain (some might say regain) her sanity while in graduate school more than 10 years ago, and after several years of regular practice decided to enroll in a year-long yoga teacher training program. While physical fitness is a happy side effect of yoga, Jenny practices primarily for the mental clarity, internal quiet, and sense of connectedness that yoga brings her. Jenny’s teaching style is slow and steady, and grounded in the basic principle of proper anatomic alignment and conscious breathing. She has taught in yoga studios, for adult education programs and private clients, on site at local businesses and corporations, and outdoors in the gazebo at Maple Moon Farm.
